Today I was reminded about my love for books - the physical entity of books. I enjoy my Nook. It allows my tired old eyes to be able to read longer and in low light, but today we received a book in the office and I just can't stop hefting it, running my fingers across the cover, inhaling the ink and flipping the pages.
I'd almost forgotten those pleasures.

I know what you mean, but I do love being able to lie down and read and not have sore/numb arms from holding a heavy book.
I am with you. While my Kindle has served its purpose, in terms of versatility and functionality,
I still get swoony over the tactile pleasures of a good, old-fashioned book in the paw.
I mostly read library books, so I try not to inhale since I never know where they've been before I get them! But I love their physical presence.
