HAPPY 2010 - DAY 2

So far the new year has consisted of putting away the mess from last year, trying not to eat the yummy leftovers (I am tossing it all today) and reading my new books.

I hit the gym this morning along with everyone with a membership card or a guest pass - what a mob scene that was!
The house always looks so bland and empty after the holiday tinsel is put away, doesn't help that it is grey and gloomy outside. But it is a new year, a clean slate and I intent to make the best of it.

I always love how fresh, simple, and uncluttered my house looks after Christmas. It's also really clean, because I dust and vacuum as I'm putting away the ornaments and other stuff.

New books? Anything you'd recommend?

Honestly, if you knew how old I am you would feel sorry for what I call my brain. I just this past year realized that HAVING sweet treats left over doesn't mean I have to EAT them. Duh.
So you can teach an old dog new tricks-throwing sweet stuff away!

Wow good for you!!! heading to the gym.... I need to live by you because honestly it is so cold here, I have not been too inspired to exercise like I promised myself....
I hope 2010 is good for you. You have such a positive attitude on day 2....
